Brand New Day!

so, I woke up this morning around 8:15, jolted out of sleep by an awful nightmare and planning to fall back asleep once I was sure I wouldn't drift back into that dream...but, here I am almost 4 hours later--still awake!

so, today I've had 2 packs of yummy seaweed crisps(10cal per pack):

I also took the time to do 10 minutes of Denise Austin's ab burn yoga, 10 minutes of leg burn, and 10 minutes of 'energizing stretch' yoga...I actually quite liked it(I've had the DVD for ages and never used it haha)...

afterward, I relaxed with a bubble bath, my National Geographic, a Fuze juice(10cal), and some crackers and salsa(40cal):
and then I made my favorite lunch-of-the-moment, Stuffed Rice Paper Wraps :)

to make them, you'll need:
*3 rice paper wraps
*1 cup of iceberg lettuce
*1/4 cup of pickled ginger
*1/2 cup of green onions, chopped
*rice vinegar
*Bragg's liquid aminos
and then:
one by one, soak the rice paper wraps in warm water until they're soft(but not for too long, or else they'll disintegrate).

lay them each out on a plate, and add the lettuce, ginger, and green onions to each.
drizzle the vinegar and aminos, roll them up, and enjoy!
well, that's all for now...I'm off to clean 3 litterboxes, do the dishes, and tend to a rather sick husband...

//edit//

so, I just hit the treadmill...I did 16 minutes/1 mile, alternating 2:00 of running @ 4.5mph with 2:00 of walking @ 3.5mph...

prior to running, I had 1 cup of Smart Pop popcorn(15cal).

//edit2//

after working out, I had some ahi tuna poke with light soy sauce, onions, and jalapenos, with some hot sake to wash it down :) :

dinner was a sea vegetable/kelp noodle/Romaine salad with a yummy dressing made of:

*1 tbsp guacamole(13cal)
*Bragg's liquid aminos
*ginger
*1 garlic clove, minced
*salt and pepper

now? it's off to the iMAX to see "Star Trek", for the 3rd time :D
